In the morning our 'lease cat' came over for a visit. He or she (we're not sure what it is) visited us a couple of times, already. We call him Rat. :-)

Late in the afternoon we went for a walk on the beach.

When we went back the bus took a detour, because there was a fire at the Kruisweg in Haarlem. .

Haarlem, April 13th, 2008.
Fire at the Kruisweg in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Smoke comes out of the apartment above an (delicious) Indonesian take away restaurant, called Sinar Cinta. Firemen are trying to get in the burning house from above. Nobody got hurt, the local news site says. All surrounded houses were evacuated for a couple of hours. At 06:00 PM the fire station got the alarm. We shot this clip around 10:00 PM.
